Pause between copies.

When printing multiple copies of the same document in
Publisher 2003 my printer pauses between copies. It's not
a long pause, only a couple of seconds. Because of the
repeated startup/print/shutdown/startup sequence, printing
is taking almost twice as long.

I'm using an HP color laserjet 4500DN. Printer port
settings are Raw port no. 9100 on HP standard tcp/ip print
port.

I have used other publishing apps that do not have this
problem.

Does the same problem occur if you use the Standard TCP/IP port that is
shipped with the OS?

Disabled Bidirectional on the ports tab of Printer Properties and see if
this affects the behavior.

Since other applications do not exhibit this, it may in fact be something in
the application. I am sure there is a Publisher newsgroup if that is the
case.
