Path too deep

When I use file manager to copy a file to my USB 2.0
external drive I get a "Path too deep" message even if I
am only copying a single file in the root directory. Any
help?

I'm having the same problem. I get a "Path Too Deep" error even when
the path is "c:\file.zip" copying to usb 2 device "y:\file.zip".
Obviously this isn't 256 characters.

When I use the device in USB 1 mode it works perfectly fine. All of my
drivers are up to date. I remember reading somewhere that it has
something to do with an intel chipset. I have yet to see any driver
updates or responses back from intel on this. It is really annoying
though.
