Windows file manager "Path is too deep"

Jim P

Everytime I try to copy a directory from one hard drive
to another I get the message "Cannot copy. Path is too
deep". Even though the source is only 3 deep. This is
using file manager.

THANKS

Which version of Windows File Manager are you using? The only one
that works properly in XP is "winfile.exe" from NT 4.0. Versions
from Win9X do not work right or at all.

Also bear in mind that you may have to use quotes " XXXX " around the
long file names when copying.
