Pasting a document into a blank Word document

Pat

When I attempt to copy and paste a Word document into a new blank Word
document the font changes to really large and I lose column and other
formatting. The document I copy and paste is a form which I need to change
monthly. I simply want to create a new form each month and make changes to
it. I do not know how to correct this. Any help?

I don't know why your Copy/Paste is being weird, but you don't need to
do that. Just open the older document and use Save As to make a new
document with a different name.

If the form you create each month must be based on the one from last month,
Save As is OK.

On the other hand, if each form needs the same starting point, you should
create a template (that is what templates are for). Save a correct version of
the form as a template. When you need to create a new form, create a new
document based on the template.
