Paste pictures into PowerPoint and have size default to my setting

I cut pictures from an application and paste them one at a time into
PowerPoint, then have to resize and reposition the pictures on each sllide. I
have multiple pictures (a dozen or more) that I have to do this for on
multiple monthly reports.

It would be much easier to have a default setting in PowerPoint that sizes
the pasted pictures to a default I set. Is there a way to do that?
