repeat format of picture

In PowerPoint 2000 I could format a picture, then move on to the next
picture, hit F4 and the formatting would repeat. F4 doesn't work in
PowerPoint 2003.

How do I set the formatting once and get it to apply to the rest of the
pictures in the presentatioin. I work at a school and do many presesntations
that are picture after picture after picture. The pictures all need to be
the same size, have the same border, etc.

I don't know of another way to set them other than having to go back and
format each one.

Thanks for your help.

First create a shape and format that shape as desired. Then insert the
picture into that shape as a Fill. Duplicate the Shape with a Picture fill
then change the fill (Right click > Format Object) with a different Picture.

Sandy's method is good

You could also use the format painter tool to copy borders etc but it won't
copy the size.

I would resize all the pics before you add them. Irfanview is free and will
do this in a flash.
