Paste error

I cannot paste anything from one workbook to another in Excel 07.

I used to be able to do so.

I can paste from Excel into Word and vice versa.

I can paste between worksheets within the same book.

I tried to start in safe mode - same problem.

Doesn't matter if I cut or copy or how I process the cut, copy or paste
commands.

Without knowing how you go about it, not much anyone can say to help!
Do you have both books open when doing the copy part, or do you copy, then
open the 2nd file?
