Paste and Copy does not work on my Windows Vista 2007

I'm trying to paste my resume, but it does no let me. What should i try
doing? A response is very much appreciated. Thanks.

Paste from what into what?
What errors are you seeing?

Have you tried pasting into notepad, and then copy and paste from notepad to
wherever you want the final copy?

Did you recently update the affected PC to Internet Explorer 8? Click the
"compatibility view" button just to the right of the url address bar.
