Our kids have password protected their log ins and have forgotten what they
are. (They don't use this computer any longer,) I'm the administrator.
Can I find out what it is?

Karla

Karla;
If you are the Administrator it is easy.
Log in to your own Administrator account.
Go to User Accounts in the Control Panel.
Select a user with a lost password.
From there you can remove or change the password.

Thanks. I discovered how to remove a password after posting the message
above. However, when I then tried to get into the user name I get a
message: INF Failure. Reason: Access Denied

All I then get is the background screen. No start button, no desktop icons.
Nothing.

Any thoughts?
