With windows 2000 I get a pop up window asking
me if i want windows to remember my pass word. I tell it
yes, but it never does. Whe I go back to open the site the
next time the system asks me for the password again then
asks me if I want it remembered.
I had this problem one time in the past and someone
directed me to something in knowledge base that involved
changing the registry and that corrected the problem. I
have been unable to find that information again. Can
someone help me?

In Internet Options > Content > Autocomplete settings, make sure that BOTH
the "User names and passwords on forms" and the "Prompt me to save
passwords" checkboxes are checked.
