Passwords not saved in IE each time I log in

when I have to enter a user name / password in IE and the
dialogue box "enter netowrk password" comes up, it does
not save my info for the next time I log on to the
website. Each time I have to re-type in the info.

In IE/OPtions/Content/AutoComplete...I have all of the
boxes checked
 
If I'm right... the only time IE is able to save, and use
your password for you, is if it is entered DIRECTLY to a
website page. It won't save a password if a dialog box
appears.

Don't quote me... but I think that's how it works
