Passwords being reset ...

When I signed on this evening to check my emails (several accounts)
each and every password had been lost. When I go into settings and
reset them; once I close windows mail, and reopen it, the passwords
are gone again!

WTF is going on? Is this a bug, a virus or some sort of exploit or
what? Its really starting to tick me off!

This is probably caused by your overly intrusive antivirus
(typically McAfee or Norton). Read

and take appropriate action.

I've been running AVG since I got this computer 6+ months ago and
never had this problem before.

I am going to try and delete the accounts and create them again; see
if that helps any.

Deleting and recreating the accounts does NOT work either!

I disabled UAC then went in and tried to reset passwords in windows
mail - it worked! I relaunched UAC, started mail up and they are
still there. This issue must have dealt with admin permissions - I
AM THE ADMIN BILL !!!!

Anyway, if anyone else experiences something similar try that method!

I know you solved this issue through another method,
but hopefully you don't have AVG configured to scan emails.
