Why am I suddenly getting a message that I must choose a
new password? It warns me that my current password will
be invalid in 2 weeks. I am using Windows XP pro.

The reason windows is asking you to change your password
is because of one of the admin settings. If you are the
admin of your system, and you think that you computer has
no data on it a hacker could use to inpersonate you, you
could change this setting.

Just go to the control panel, and then to the admin
settings. From here look around and try to find the
setting that says that your password will expire in "so
and so days." (I don't have admin on this computer, if
anyone can help with the exact place, that would be
helpful) You can tell your computer that you don't want
to change your password by turning of this setting.

I hope I helped.
