how to i turn off the logon screen so i dont have to
enter my password everytime i boot up
 
Control Panel > User Accounts > Change the way users users log on or off.

Start, Run and enter CONTROL USERPASSWORDS2 Highlight the user account that you want automatically logged on, then uncheck Users must enter a username and password. Click Apply. On the next dialog, enter the password for the account you selected, if any.
