My password expired and when I tried to enter the old
password and then a new one it will not accept stating it
is incorrect. I have tried many different things and can't
get past this to use my computer. I've learned alot on my
computer but feel frustrated right now. Please help!

You need to log on as The Administrator. Assuming Home Edition as you didn't
say, boot into Safe Mode (tapping F8 at startup until you see the dos-type
menu) when you should see the Administrator log-in at the Welcome Screen.
You can then reset your User password from there.
