for some reason I cannot get FP to recognize my password
to upload my files. How can I solve this?
 
Your best option is to start with your host. It could be that your username
and password are not setup to publish to an FP web or that they have missed
a setting when creating your user account to enable it to publish to an FP
web. During password troubles, always start with the host as 99.9% of the
time it's a mixup on their end.
