Password vs task scheduler

Is there a way to get the task scheduler to work without
having to assign a password to my user name and the tasks?
I get numerous power outages and the respective reboots
obviously wait for password input. Since I am not home
most of the time, my computer is off line until I
manually enter the password. I eliminated my password
but then the task scheduler doesn't work.
