Password to logon across network

One computer is running W98SE and networks fine. The
other is running W2k SP3. The W2k macnine can see and
access everything on the W98 machine, but the W98 machine
gets request for password when trying to access drive on
W2k machine. I tried the regular logon and admin
passwords but do not work. I did not assign any network
passwords yet until I get this working.
Is there a default password built into W2K for accissing
across a network? What is it?
