I have 3 computers networked, two with W2k and one with
W98. They "see" each other, but from the W98 machine, when
I go to Network Neighborhood, and click on either of the
two W2k machines, a password request(demand) prevents
further access (utility) and prevents printer sharing. Can
anyone explain how to get around the password which I
clarify, I did not create one and I have tried EVERY
password that has ever been associated with all three
machines in my experience.

When you first log onto win98 you need to specify a username that exists on the win2k machine OR you need to add a user to win2k
with the same name as what you use for your logon.
