Password question

I have a password backup file on my USB stick. I will never need it as my
password is ingrained into my brain.

My question is this, if I were to copy that password backup file to another
medium or another USB stick and the timestamp were different on that copied
file would that copied file still be recognized by my computer? Does the
timestamp have anything to do with anything in this instance? Just
wondering.
