Password protected folder

Rocky

I have had to replace my motherboard and I have bought a new hard drive and
have made my old drive the slave.
My documents folder on the slave drive is password protected. I know the
password but how can I input the password to move the folder to my new hard
drive?
Thanks

Incorrect - your documents are *not* password protected on the old drive
(unless you actually encrypted them or put them in a password prtected
compressed file of some sort - which is doubtful from your description.)

Your documents are protected by file and folder permissions. Your new
install does not have *rights* to the old stuff...

No worries - easily fixed.
