password protected files

I have tried to access some files in Word that are
password protected. They were created in Word by someone
else. When i type in my password, a pop-up states I have
entered the wrong password. It is the same password I use
for Hotmail. What do I do now. How do I reset password?

Search google for MS-Word password crackers. There are quite a few around,
but their level of success can depend on the version of Word, and the level
of encryption.

You will have to ask the person who created the files what password he used
to protect them.
