Password prompt will not go away

We are using Outlook 2003 and several of us keep getting the password prompt
when pressing send/receive, even though the "Rember password" box is checked
(and our password is correct). We have tried renewing the registry files as
suggested by Microsoft help online, but it did resolve this specific issue.
Any other suggestions?
 
I have the same problem with Outlook 2002 for XP. The screen says emails are
being downloaded but when it gets to 20-30% the message appears and nothing
at all is downloaded. I think this happens after the downloading is
"complete" from my default account as the message relates to the second email
account on the list. I have done the registry thing and reloaded the software
a number of times but still get the same problem. Any one out there any
thoughts? Thanks.
