Password problem

I saw, that there were some posts about passwords not being retained by
Outlook 2003. I have the same problem, tried all the option with the registry
changes, etc. It didn't work for me.

Are there any news on how to fix this problem?
Please help.

Ditto, Steffen, only I'm in Outlook 2000. I posted the
problem yesterday, and the solution recommended was a
change in the registry, but the changes specified in the
referenced publication don't match the choices available
to me in the registry thingy...

I have to enter my password(s) under Tools/E-mail
Accounts/Change every time I open Outlook. It seems to
work as long as I'm in the program, but as soon as I
close it I'm back to square one. Since I check e-mail
about a dozen times a day, it's getting to be a real pain!
