Password problem

I got a password problem in open the password protected PowerPoint file.

I should have a "read only" option, if the password is only protect the
modification.

In my PC I can't see the read only button.
On my other PC the read only button shown up.
Both PCs have the same os with all patches applied.
The different is One PC is using roaming profile which it is joining the
Domain.
The other PC is standalone, and is using local profile.

Any ideal or is is a bug in the office system.

I have tried to use the PowerPoint viewer 2007 on both machines, and same
symptom happens.
The one with roaming profile setting, the programme didn't show the read
only button.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

We can't help you with the problem if you keep posting the same message over
and over but not reading the replies.

So you didn't know the answer.

I don't know whether I keep posting this question.

I read reply but so fast I didn't receive any.

So you didn't know the answer.

Not immediately, no. But I was trying to give you a little advice on how you
can use this newsgroup to find an answer more quickly. If that's a problem,
let me know.
I don't know whether I keep posting this question.

I've seen three copies of it so far.

It seems no solution at all.

You might need to call Microsoft for this one. As I mentioned earlier, I've
seen this happen, but I don't know what exactly causes it or how to fix it.
Since nobody but Steve and I have even offered guesses, then it's probable
others don't have a sure-fire fix, either.
