Password Problem

i have a computer running windows 2000 as a client in a
domain. The domain controller has exchange server
installed and i can change the password in active dir
users and computers but when i try to log in with that
password at the client computer. I wil not let me log on
and the old password just works fine and u can check mail
with the new password, but i can not log on to the domain
with the new password....

please help me if u guys can

Why do you bring up the fact that you have exchange server running? I don't
know too much about Exchange server, but it shouldn't affect the domain
passwords. Does Exchange server work off the logins from the Active
Directory?

Are you changing the passwords in Exchange or Active Directory?

Try doing an Alt-Ctrl-Del on the client and changing the password there.
Maybe you're logging into a local account.
