Password Policies Group Policy

I am trying to test the password policies on just a few
accounts, not the whole domain. I created two Global
Security groups one for machine accounts, and one for user
accounts. I applied the GPO at the domain level to these
two groups.

The policy applies but is not applying to their domain
account only the local user account. Is there a way to
accomplish this test on the domain accounts without it
affecting all users?

I have read other places that you cannot set password
setting anywhere other than the domain level.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi

First of all the password policy is a computer setting, so applys to
machines not users, so setting up groups with users in won't help.

Try a group with machines in.

No it is not possible. Password policy for the domain applies to all domain
