password log on

My son has forgot his password and cant remember it even
with the password hint. I have tried to log on into safe
mode and by pass the password enable, but every time I
log on even in safe mode the administrater wont let me
bypass. It still ask's for the password. Is their any
way to get pass this so I can set-up another password or
can I dissable the password protect prior to logging in
so he wont have this issue any more?

Is your son's account on the same computer that you are using?
