Password issues when fast user switching

I'm running XP Home SP2.
The computer has 4 accounts, all admin; 2 with password, and 2 without.
This is on a relatively clean install (as of about a month ago).
What happens is that every once in a while, when one of the passworded
accounts switches out to the Welcome Screen (using XP's handy-dandy
"Fast User Switching" feature), suddenly all 4 accounts will be
password protected, and neither of the passwords for the passworded
accounts work for any of them. The only way to fix it, so far, is to
reboot the computer.
Any suggestions?
I'll be happy to clarify anything that needs, well, clarification.

Just trying to bring this topic back up to the top, as I haven't gotten
any responses. The issue still exists, and I still need any help I can
get resolving it.
