password from nowhere!

Hi
wonder if anyone can help.
My friend has developed a strange problem.
When he switches his computer on now, (Windows XP pro) it asks for a
password on his, and all his families user profiles.

Only problem is, he never set up a password, and it's always loaded
straight up without asking for one.

If you leave it blank it won't let him load up, even in safe mode!

Any ideas anyone?

I am having the same problem and so are many other people. Have you found a
perminant fix yet? If so please post it will be greatly appreciated...Firesim
