partitioning hard disk at set up of vista home premium?

I need to do a fresh installation of my Vista Home Premium OS using the
recovery disk that came with my Toshiba laptop. Just to be clear, this was
not an upgrade, this is what was installed when I purchased the laptop. Does
Vista Home Premium give me the option to partition my hard disk at set up?

Also, does Windows Mail have an archive file? I plan on installing Outlook
2003 after installing Vista and need to know if I am going to have problems
exporting the mail from Windows Mail to Outlook 2003?

Hi,

You'd have to check with Toshiba as to what you can and can't do with their
recovery system. A normal, retail Vista install disk allows for partitioning
during setup, but quite often with proprietary manufacturer recovery disks
it's just a wipe and reload to factory state without any options.

For Windows Mail, click file/export/messages to create a file you can save
to removable media and later import to Outlook.
