Hi Folks,
I madea major mistake and deleted a partition on my
computer hard drive. Now I have lost use of 40 gigs. All
I wanted to do was get rid of the partition and put the 40
gigs back on a non-partitioned drive. C:primary drive-
contains windows and all my programs and folders.
D:deleted Partiton, how can I get the full 80 gigs of hard
drive back on the primary drive without re-formating the
hard drive, in which case i would loose all information on
the hard drive. Including the xp os. PLEASE HELP!

Hi Rick,

You cannot do that from within XP. You will need a 3rd party application,
like PartitionMagic, to do it without re-formatting the HD and re-installing
XP.
