Clean XP Install and Hard Disk Partition Size

I recently installed XP Pro on new 160 gig drive. During the installation
the program told me that it could not partition a drive this size, I think
the max was 120 gigs and that to free up the remaining 40 gigs I would have
to perform some additional procedure after the program install. Every works
fine but my drive only has a 120 gig partition. How do I get the 40 gigs
back. I would like to have one 160 gig partition if possible. Thanks for
the help!!

The easiest way is to purchase a tool called PartitionMagic and have it do
the resizing. You can also use the command fdisk.exe to partition the
remaining 40 gB as a 2nd partition.

Here's a freeware utility that may be able to do the partitioning also (I'm
not familiar with this program): http://www.ranish.com/part/
