Partition magic problem

I run penrium 3 1 gig, windows XP prof.

I bought today Partition magic 8.0.2 and installed it. When I run it before
I can even put in the serial number a box comes up which says: init failed:
error 504. File not found.

I can't find out which file isn't found. or where to look for it.

Any help appreciated.
