Partition hard drive

Hello,

My Windows 2000 Server SP4 has one 60 GB hard drive which is mirrored to
another 60 GB hard drive. This member server contains data files, is the
printer server, and is also the routing and remote access server. The primary
disk has four partitions and has no available space for further partitioning.

Partition D is at capacity. I would like to decrease partition C and
increase partition D. Both of these partitions contain data files. It is my
understanding if I use Disk Manager to repartition partition C and D, I will
lose all of the information on those partitions.

Someone has suggested that I used Partition Magic to resize partition C and
D. Would this cause any problems?

Thanks for your help,
Millie

In an ideal world? No. It should be okay but I'd be sure to defrag the drive
before hand as that helps. Also do make sure that you backup ALL data before
you make the changes. I use Partition Magic here on a regular basis and it's
only cause me one problem and I can attribute that to PBKAC :)
