Vivians

Hi all,
I use one partition and one extended partition in one hard drive. Both
using FAT32,the
computer just hangs and doesn't boot into Winxp.Using other Winxp computer
to check the hard
drive, both partition format display RAW status, not display FAT32
status.Click both partition display Message
"Unformatted partition". I am try to format c: drive, then reset to
normally(no bad sector).
But another partition( D: drive ),I don't want to format it.Because D: drive
store data.
Please suggest any method to solved it,or which one software can recover
data,
IF Formatted this drive, any software can unformatted drive.

Thanks,

You can use tools from knoppix to fix partition tables. knopper.net.
Go to the shell and type: apropos partition

Click both partition display Message "Unformatted partition". I am

You can also backup this data using knoppix before proceeding with
whatever tool you try out.

Best advice for you is to go to someone you know as an expert, because
you do not seem to be very familiar with it. Sorry, I do not want to
blame you, but I really think this is better for you and your pc.
