Partial Webpage render in IE

[Synapse Syndrome]

When I try to view certain webpages in IE, I only get a partial view of it.
It has only started doing this recently and it does not happen with Firefox.

The problem is similar to the one described on this page, but the fix will
not work. My XP SP2 installation says that this update is not needed.
