Is there any way (including using VBA) to set Space Before and Space After to a
multiple or fraction of lines that correspond to the font and font size of the
paragraph? As far as I can tell, you can set these parameters in points,
"lines," or inches (or metric).

However, 1 "line" does not mean a single line of the font size in question. It
has to do with gridlines or something. You get the same Space Before the
paragraph whether the font of the paragraph is in 6 point or 16 point.

Thanks.

Hi Jay,

For entering the space before/after, you could experiment with character units.

Say the font size is 6 pt, then "Space before: 2 ch" will give you 12 pt.

But as soon as you enter it, Word will change to absolute values. So if you later change the style to a font size of 9 pt, the space before won't change to 18 pt.

Greetings,
Klaus
