Paper Jam Tip

When clearing a paper jam, keep and examine all the bits of paper
pulled out of the machine to ensure
all of the
paper has been removed. If the sheet tears, make sure to put the
pieces together like a puzzle to form a complete sheet. Often, a
small piece will tear off (even just a corner), and sure enough, if
left in the printer, it will cause a problem, either now or in the
future.

It is by far the most common support call, and usually because
individuals do not check jammed sheets for missing bits when removing
them from a printer.

Something similar happened to me just yesterday. I had to take some
appropriate receipts to the local USDA office for copies to be made to
put into my file. (Paperwork for a crop insurance claim) The director of
the office loaded them into the autofeeder of a copier, but partway
through one of them jammed. He cleared it and finished the rest, but the
feeder still didn't want to work the way it should. Further examination
revealed a peel-and-stick return label had come loose from one of the
receipts and was stuck to a roller. He cleared that, and things worked
fine again.

Admit it, you were trying to sabotage the government USDA office.

I think they should consider giving you an all expenses paid trip to a
certain section of Cuba for a few years to await the result of an
investigation to determine if that sticker was made in the US or not.;-)
