panning and zooming

I know this is probably not the right forum to post this question, but I have
gotten some good help in the past from all of you out there so I am going to
give it a shot. I love the Pan and Zoom Feature in Photostory 3, I just
don't like some of the other limitations of the program. I went out and
purchased Adobe Premiere Elements and I can't figure out how to do that same
feature in it. There is a zoom option, but not the panning effect. Also I
like how PS3 removes the black borders. Is there a way in Premiere Elements
to do the same thing? Last question, am I better off trying to use both
programs hand in hand? Hopefully I can get some good answers from you guys,
I am looking forward to hearing from all you on this topic.

Thanks very much!!!

If Elements is like Premiere 6, then the panning and zooming are in the
Motion Effects....

I'd think you are better using them hand in hand... but you'll have to go
over a couple hurdles to do so.... PS3 can't handle video clips but does a
super job with high quality still pix, using all the pixels in them.
Premiere, as a movie app, can use still images, but doesn't do as good a job
with the pixel quality of still images...

Yea I know PS3 can't do video, I am not looking to do video with it. I need
more features with adding Text and BLank Screens which I wish PS3 had that
incorporated with it. Then I would be set. I could make them in Photoshop,
but there are more steps to doing it there and plus I have heard that Text in
photoshop does not look good blown up and used playing on a TV. U have any
thoughts on that?

If you want to do title pages, PS3 can do them pretty easily. See my
article:

Add a Title or Credits Slide

Hope this helps!
