I need to pan across an image using Powerpoint. I have spent a day looking for instructions, which fall into 3 categories:
<> Badly made. "Then click the box to lock the image..." but there is no such "box" there.
<> Incomplete. "To do this, place a rectangle around the first image..." without telling where and how you get this "rectangle."
<> Not what it says it is. There is a very well-done Youtube instruction purporting to show how to pan across an image, but the end result is just a mess of zoomed and pushed images, and not a real pan at all.

If anyone knows of some website with decent instructions on how to do this, I would like to know where it is. And if (as I susect) it is not possible to really pan across an image using PowerPoint, I wish someone would just say so expressly.

//Thanks in advance
