Panda Titanium - Antivirus 06

Hi -

I recently installed Panda Titanium Antivirus 06. Everything set up
fine. I'm just wondering if anyone has this antivirus product and knows
how to set up an automatic scan? I've searched everywhere in the
program and can not find anywhere to schedule a scan. I went in help
and has it in the help FAQ but only tells you what a scheduled scan
is...not how to set one up.

Any help would be appreciated.

You can't. I asked tech support the same question and after telling me how
to do automatic virus definition updates (which wasn't the question I had
asked) they finally replied:

"Hello,
You cannot run scheduled scans with the Titanium software, only ‘on-
demand’ scans.

Please contact us if you require further assistance.

Also, it has a firewall as well, something I wasn't aware of when I
installed it. It completely conflicted with my Outpost Pro. I finally
gave up trying to disable the Panda wall, uninstalled the whole thing and
installed Kaspersky AV.

Now I'm happy again.

You should still be able to set up automated scans by using a command-line
entry and the Windows Task Scheduler.
Have a look in the Help files and see if it gives a means of triggering a
scan using DOS or the command-line (e.g. from a shortcut) - if so you can
use that information to create a new Scheduled Task, which you can then
modify as required.
