Panda Antivirus Titanium removal

I have a Dell desktop computer running Windows XP. It came with the
following McAfee products: VirsusScan, Personal Firewall Plus, Privacy
Service and
SpamKiller. I am currently using cable for internet access. At some point,
a roomate decided to download and install Panda Antivirus software. When it
came time to renew McAfee and install the latest version, the installation
wizard detected incompatable software, which of course was the Panda.

When I go to add/remove programs and highlite the Panda Antivirus Titanium,
the change/remove button will not remove the program. I suspect someone tried
to delete the panda files thru windows explorer.

Any suggestions?

We had a client running that Panda crap on 15 machines, it would not
uninstall on its own, we had to boot into safe mode, hack the registry,
then delete all the files. Took about 30 minutes per machine by hand.

Check out System Restore as your first line of attack.
(Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore)

-and yes, I've had to deal with Panda, it can break the TCP/IP stack as well
as being hard to remove. If you also hit this problem, you need a progam
called LSPFix.
