paging operation error

am getting a loud kickin sound from my hardisk (laptop)
every now & then. chked the event viewer, reports error
whenever the it happens. i appended 2 such error below frm
event viewer.

hve use chkdsk to fixed some bad blocks. still getting the
kicking sound.

does that mean my HD is dying ?

appreciate any tips other than replacing the HD.

New noises from a hard drive, especially when accompanied by access
failure messages from the system, generally mean impending catastrophic
hardware failure. Download the appropriate drive analysis utility from
the manufacturer, run it (normally it's a bootable floppy image so get a
floppy ready), and if it reports problems as is likely check with the
manufacturer's tech support for warranty replacement.

Get everything you care about off that drive ASAP, if possible.
