Whenever clicking on a newsgroup in Windows mail the page seems to flicker 3
times as the messages load . It seems very odd . Never happens when browsing
; pages come up almost instantly . This behavior was never apparent in '98
or XP . TIA for any advice .

Yes. That's as it downloads different sets of data and refreshes the
scream.
