Right-click menu changes / loses functionality within document?

Hello everyone.

I recently received a document (meeting minutes) that has some odd behavior
I am trying to get to the bottom of.

Almost all of the first page, when I right click I get the menu everyone is
used to seeing (cut, copy, paste, synonym's, etc).

At the bottom of the first page, and the remaining pages of the document,
the right click menu changes to "Standard Signature" & "Email Signature" as
the only options.

I can not figure out why this is happening, or how to change it. Any
thoughts?

Thanks very much.

Hi Suzanne,

I did some research, and I do not believe that is the case. I have "Form
Field Shading" turned on for this document, and do not have any grey boxes /
areas unless I click on the numbered lists. Do you have any other ideas?

Thanks!
Timothy

Form Field shading doesn't apply to other fields. On the View tab of Tools |
Options, select Always or When Selected for field shading and see if that
makes a difference. Or press Alt+F9 to display field codes and see if the
area in question shows "AutoTextList." For more on this field, see

Ok - I've selected the "Always" option, as well as displaying field codes. I
know that field codes are working because the page number in the footer of
the document now shows up as { Page}. However, the text still only gives me
the "standard signature" & "email signature..." options when I right click
it, nor does it appear different in any other way.

Thank you for your continued help. :)
