messages from other email accounts

Hi!
Since I have installed Windows Live Email onto my computer with Vista, every
time that I open my email, the download box comes on and it seems like it
repeatedly goes through trying to download messages from my hotmail account.
The problem is - it never seems to make it through the entire download before
it freezes up. It tends to freeze up for no apparent reason and most of the
email messages from the variety of hotmail folders seem to have already
downloaded onto the Windows Live page. Because it has to go through this
list, attempting to retrieve messages from hotmail, I can not get any
messages from my peoplepc account, as that is at the very bottom of the list.
I have tried to go to hotmail and delete the folders, but when I do that,
they are also deleted from my Windows Live account. Any suggestions?

This forum (newsgroup actually) supports the Windows Mail program.
It sounds like you are using a different email program called Windows Live Mail.
If so, it has its own support forum:
