page numbers

I have Windows,2003 XP--I removed two section breaks now document starts on
page 9. I do not want page numbers for the first 8 pages nor any page number
for page 190-191. Have tried everything posted. What am I doing wrong?

You don't mention what program you are using (Windows, 2003 XP?) but I
assume you are asking a WORD question. This newsgroup is for Microsoft
Access, the database application. Please post your question to the correct
newsgroup.

Microsoft's Help system has landed you in the wrong newsgroup: this
one is for the database program Microsoft Access.

Please use the dropdown box (the one that says "Access" by default)
to select a more appropriate newsgroup, such as
microsoft.public.word.general.
