Although you have failed to tell us what application you're
working with, I think I can help. Put page 1 first, and
follow it with 2, then 3... and so on until you run out of
pages. This strategy always works for me.

This sounds like a question about your word processor, not about
Windows XP. And since you didn't tell us what word processor
you're using, or what you've tried and what happened, it's very
difficult to supply any help.
