I'm trying to build a page that has three different words to locate on the
page. For instance, retirement is one of the words and the retirement
section is in the middle of this page. How do I add a hyperlink to go to a
specific section on a new page?

I have done that on several pages-through the use of bookmarks.
You are actually linking to the part of page you wish to display.
read about bookmark in the help file.
For Quick Advice- Type word (Retirement) on top of page, then choose one of the first words in the paragraph you want the visitor to go to-select the word in paragraph>then insert a bookmark from the insert menu>this brings up dialog box type the bookmark word you chose from paragraph>click ok
Select word retirement on top of page>click insert-then bookmark>click the bookmark you want to navigate to >click Go To >click ok
Hope this helps.
